Safe Word-Teresa Mummert

I’m not sure what to think of this book.

It started off a bit weird and I fought through it.

I felt like it didn’t grab me right away.

Of course I always read books until the end because someone took the time to write the story and it is only fair to the author.

I will read another book by Teresa Mummert as there seems to be some good reviews.

Well happy reading everyone

Do NOT read this blog post with a secret deleted scene.

Colleen Hoover the Slammed Series

FYI if you haven’t read them there is a deleted scene that wasn’t included in the books.

Colleen Hoover

Before we get to the uninteresting stuff, let’s get the uninteresting stuff out of the way, shall we?

I recently opened up my PO box for signing, which means if you go up there ^^^ to the link that says, “signed books” there will be instructions on how to mail your books to me and have them signed and shipped back.

When opening this option, I had no idea how many of you would take advantage of it.  As evidenced by this picture from only two days of accumulation at the PO box.  postoffice

Talk about a lot of books!  It’s a great “problem” to have.  In fact, I’ve now started dedicating an entire day out of each week to just sign and ship back all the books I’ve been getting.  And so far, with the help of my awesome boss who does the majority of the organizing for me…

Slammed-Colleen Hoover

What a great story.

Such a hard life for Will as he has to raise his little brother as his parents were killed in a car accident.

In comes Layken (Lake) who just loses her father and whose mother moves her and her brother to Michgan.

I loved how they come together for a happily ever after.

Great writing by Colleen Hoover.

Again another book that was listed on http://www.maryse.com

Tangled-Emma Chase

Publication Date: May 19, 2013
Drew Evans is a winner. Handsome and arrogant, he makes multimillion-dollar business deals and seduces New York’s most beautiful women with just a smile. He has loyal friends and an indulgent family. So why has he been shuttered in his apartment for seven days, miserable and depressed?

He’ll tell you he has the flu.

But we all know that’s not really true.

Katherine Brooks is brilliant, beautiful, and ambitious. She refuses to let anything—or anyone—derail her path to success. When Kate is hired as the new associate at Drew’s father’s investment banking firm, every aspect of the dashing playboy’s life is thrown into a tailspin. The professional competition she brings is unnerving, his attraction to her is distracting, and his failure to entice her into his bed is exasperating.

Then, just when Drew is on the cusp of having everything he wants, his overblown confidence threatens to ruin it all. Will he be able untangle his feelings of lust and tenderness, frustration and fulfillment? Will he rise to the most important challenge of his life?

Can Drew Evans win at love?

Tangled is not your mother’s romance novel. It is an outrageous, passionate, witty narrative about a man who knows a lot about women…just not as much as he thinks he knows. As he tells his story, Drew learns the one thing in life he never wanted is the only thing he can’t live without.

This is a must read.

I haven’t laughed out loud over a book in forever.

This book gets you from the beginning until the end.

If you’re looking for something fun this is your book.

A job well done.

Thanks http://www.maryse.com once again for a great suggestion.

The Love Game-Emma Hart

A New York Times and USA Today bestseller!

His challenge? Make her fall in love with him.
Her challenge? Play the player.
Until life changes the rules of the game.

Maddie Stevens hated Braden Carter on sight. Arrogant, egotistical, and the playboy of the University of California, Berkeley, he’s everything her brother Pearce has taught her to despise. So why, when the girls challenge her to play the player, doesn’t she say no? She doesn’t know either.

Braden wanted fiery little Maddie the second he laid eyes on her – and he’d do anything to have her, hence why he’s agreed to make her fall in love with him. After all, it’s the only way he’ll get what he wants. Sex.

But, as Braden discovers, there’s more to the girl from Brooklyn than he ever imagined – and he can’t help but care about the broken girl behind those pretty green eyes.

Maddie finds Braden isn’t just a walking erection – he actually has feelings. He can be sweet, funny and his good looks don’t exactly hurt. That means trouble – but when her brother Pearce turns up in Berkeley begging for her help, she realises Braden and Pearce aren’t so alike anymore.

And maybe, just maybe, they’re exactly what each other needs.
